The Yale Club of Boston will hold its annual golf outing on Sunday, October 13. This year, we will play at the wonderful Fall River Country Club (map), a beautiful course with water views from most of the holes.
The event will include lunch at the snack shop, 18 holes of golf, a cart, prizes and an awards dinner.
The President's Cup is a mildly competitive event in which each foursome is a team. It is a best ball format: a team’s score for a hole is determined by the lowest individual net score. To facilitate this, we will contact registered players to ask you for your handicap. If you don’t have one, please tell us your typical score for 18 holes and we’ll assign one. We will tee off at about 1 pm. If we have enough players, the event will be a shotgun. The winning foursome will take home the prestigious President’s Cup.
The cost is $150 for Yale Club of Boston members and their guests, and $160 for non-members and their guests. If you can’t stay for the dinner, choose “Tournament Only” and save $25.
In order to make the proper arrangements with the Club, we need to have all sign-ups by Friday, September 27. If there is rain, we will reschedule for October 20.
There will be various contests with modest (voluntary) fees associated with them. Proceeds will be used to fund the Yale Community Service Fellowship program.
Please each out to golf@yaleboston.org if you have any questions.
